Roller chains with extended pins are manufactured with the pitch corrected at the outer link. In some cases, this pitch correction must be taken into account when manufacturing attachments.

Roller chains with elastomer profiles are ideal for applications where fragile goods require gentle conveyor handling. ELITE chains are used for transporting goods that should not be scratched, such as coated or thin sheet metal, planed timber planks or pipes.

ELITE roller chains with sawtooth plates are extremely wear-resistant and designed for optimum fatigue strength. They are used mainly in the wood processing industry for transporting raw timber and sawn planks. Many of these chains are subject to high dynamic loads, and therefore deligned to be particularly impact-resistant.
