Graphite gaskets
A gasket is a mechanical seal used in a device or mechanism between two materials, such as two metals or chemical substances, to prevent the leakage of gases or liquids.
Gaskets are used in almost every industry and are universal, required for nearly every mechanism. Criteria such as temperature, operating pressure, the materials involved (liquids, gases, acids, alkalis, etc.), and the composition of the sealing material are among the most important factors when choosing a gasket from which the seal will be made.
Improperly selected gaskets can lead to failures in the equipment in which they are used. Properly chosen, tailored, and periodically checked (for damage or defects) gaskets contribute significantly to the safe and effective operation of equipment.
We manufacture gaskets in various sizes from our assortment of graphite sheets, including graphite aramid sheets with a perforated steel sheet inside. These gaskets, made from reinforced graphite sheets, are particularly resistant to steam and aggressive environments. They exhibit high chemical stability and are used at high temperatures.
They are used in aggressive environments, at high and low temperatures, in heat exchangers, and more, for connecting pipes and various mechanisms. They are especially suitable for steam systems, chemicals, and oil (gasoline, diesel) product processing industries.
We also offer graphite gaskets with internal and external rings connecting steel flanges and containers.
We produce gaskets of various dimensions from the assortment of available aramid sheets, silicone, SBR, NBR, EPDM rubber, and fluoropolymer (PTFE).
Silicone gaskets are mainly used in the food and medical industries. Thickness: 1-12 mm. Maximum operating temperature: 200 °C.
SBR, NBR, and EPDM rubber gaskets are used in various industries, depending on the type: oil, gas, construction, etc. Thickness: 1-50 mm. Maximum operating temperature: 100 °C.
Fluoropolymer gaskets are used where high chemical, mechanical, and temperature resistance is required. Thickness: 0.5-50 mm. Maximum operating temperature: 200 °C.
